• Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

As a fundraising program of the Vidant Medical Center Foundation, all money raised by the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals program stays right here in eastern North Carolina to support James & Connie Maynard Children's Hospital at Vidant Medical Center. Funds help provide much needed programs, equipment and services for children in our 29 county service area. Maynard Children's Hospital treats children with all types of illnesses and injuries, including cancer; heart, muscular and birth defects; cerebral palsy; and traumatic injuries.

CMN Hospitals funds have been used to support capital projects, such as the 50-bed state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit, to purchase special equipment for Children's Hospital, to provide a broad range of educational programs and to supplement pediatric programs at regional hospitals. CMN Hospitals has also supported programs that promote injury prevention, child advocacy and the management of pediatric asthma.

Each summer, CMN Hospitals funds help send children with chronic diseases such as asthma, diabetes, cancer, sickle cell and other blood disorders to special summer camps.
